DMARC-RPT-FAILING-SOURCES

Sources mostly failing DMARC

What it means

A source with a high failure rate is a misconfigured legitimate sender or a spoofer.

How to fix it

  1. 1Look up the source address (IP facet) and its reverse DNS to identify the service.
  2. 2Legitimate: configure DKIM/SPF for it. Unknown: move DMARC towards quarantine/reject.

Re-check after the change

DNS changes can take up to the record's TTL to be seen; use Re-run on the result page to bypass our 10-minute cache.
