What it means

Resolvers return NXDOMAIN when the parent zone has no delegation for the name. Either the domain is unregistered, the delegation has been removed, or the name is mistyped.

How to fix it

  1. 1Check the Registry facet: is the domain registered and does it list nameservers?
  2. 2If nameservers are listed, check they host a zone for this exact name.

Re-check after the change

DNS changes can take up to the record's TTL to be seen; use Re-run on the result page to bypass our 10-minute cache.
