SOA refresh outside the recommended range
What it means
Refresh controls how often secondaries check for zone changes. Too short wastes queries; too long delays updates when NOTIFY fails.
How to fix it
- 1Set refresh between 20 minutes and 12 hours (RIPE-203 suggests 86400 for stable zones, 3600 for active ones).
Re-check after the change
DNS changes can take up to the record's TTL to be seen; use Re-run on the result page to bypass our 10-minute cache.
