What it means

clientTransferProhibited stops a transfer request from moving the domain to another registrar without you first unlocking it. It is a cheap defence against domain hijacking.

How to fix it

  1. 1In the registrar control panel find "registrar lock" or "transfer lock" and enable it.
  2. 2Keep the registrant email secure with two-factor authentication.
