A lookalike domain can receive mail
What it means
A registered typo or homoglyph of your domain with MX records can collect misaddressed mail and send convincing phishing in your name.
How to fix it
- 1Check who registered it (Registry facet) and whether it hosts a site.
- 2If it imitates you, report it to the registrar's abuse contact and, for .uk, to Nominet.
- 3Register the closest variants yourself and point them at your real domain.
- 4Keep DMARC at enforcement so your exact domain cannot be spoofed.
